The more awesome of you will recall the mention we gave to the song “Island State Of Mind” which was a spoof of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ hit “New York State Of Mind.” Instead of being all about New York, the content had to do with Tasmania – a rather humorous take of Tasmania too, I might add. Check it out here if you are yet to see it.
Well anyways, it looks like a clever Welshman has gone and done the same thing – except this time it’s about the city of Newport, in Wales.
The general mockery is done so cleverly (“Our shopping mall is quite new, big leaks will inspire you”) and after a staggered start, the song will definitely get you chuckling. Especially those of you who have done some time in Wales.
