Following last week’s confession by Lance Armstrong that he took performance-enhancing drugs, an Australian library assistant decided to update their bookshelves accordingly.
On Saturday the employee put up an in-store notice, warning customers that all Lance Armstrong’s books would soon be relocated to the fiction section.
Shoppers quickly took a picture of the sign, and it has since made its way onto social networks. But while many are campaigning for the store employee responsible to get a raise, his boss thinks otherwise. Wendy Ford, the acting manager of the Manly Library:
There will be an internal review with the person who put the signage up. He didn’t have any authority to make a statement on behalf of the library.
