While we all have our favourite meeting spots in Cape Town, like vida e or Caprice, sometimes you just want to hide away. Everyone knows this place is a village and finding a spot to meet without parking hassles or running into people you know is tricky. Not anymore..
Only people who have actually gone through with it, understand the difference. ESPECIALLY at this time of year. The Mount Nelson has an entrance on Kloof Street (opposite Arnold’s), as well as undercover parking – with no car guards or stress. From there you stroll into the Oasis Bistro, which is situated next to the pool and Librisa Spa.
Nothing in Cape Town’s City Bowl can compare when it comes to the natural beauty of this place. You honestly feel like you’re in Europe somewhere. And the notion of the hustle and bustle being just a stone’s throw away, seems almost impossible. Just ask Vanessa Raphaely – we have secret lunches at Oasis Bistro ALL the time..
Take that vibe, and add the awesome new menu, great service and lack of the idiots you normally bump into, and you’re basically in stress-free heaven. Surely that is what living the holiday is all about? Being able to transport yourself into a foreign place – even if it’s just for a couple hours.
Do it.. Seriously – you’ll live longer..
