Tomorrow sees the much-anticipated Bafana Bafana versus Norway football game at Cape Town Stadium. The match will kick off at 20:30, and is part of Bafana Bafana’s preparation for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations later this month.
The City of Cape Town has announced its public transport plan for the match, and according to the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Tourism, Events and Marketing, Grant Pascoe, they are expecting a large crowd of supporters.
Our best advice is arrive early, make use of public transport if possible and avoid peak hour traffic.
The city also advised that there will be no ticket sales at the stadium on match day, urging fans to purchase tickets beforehand.
The following transport arrangements have been made for the event:
No parking at or near the stadium will be available. Road closures will come into effect in the afternoon. To accommodate the delays in moving around the city, match ticket-holders are encouraged to do one of the following:

- Park in the City Bowl in designated parking bays – please do not obstruct access and egress points. From there, supporters can walk to the stadium via the fan walk or use the free event shuttle to the stadium;
- Park at Cape Town International Convention Centre and walk to the stadium via the fan walk or take shuttle service;
- Park at the V&A Waterfront and walk to the stadium.
