Nederburg has created a novel restaurant for the summer, open from Wednesday to Sunday until the end of April. Called the Red Table, it offers locally-sourced fresh, light bistro-style food in a relaxed and gesellige atmosphere. The menu has been devised to match the farm’s rich and varied range of award-winning wines.
What makes it different, though is a canny configuration of red tables that meanders through the Manor House and spills into the gorgeous gardens.
Look out for special flash sale offers of wines to take home. These are arranged on random days and times, so it’s always best to ask.
Wednesdays to Saturdays are à la carte days with regularly updated specials. The Sunday Table groans with a bounteous buffet and includes a fantasy sundae bar. Kiddies are catered for in style throughout.
The Red Table is open from 11h00 to 16h00, Wednesdays to Saturdays, and on Sundays, from 12h00 to 16h00.
