When this thing comes to Cape Town, I strongly advise you to get there before me. Because I’m gonna be there early and I’m gonna jump in and lock the door!
Check this shit out!
Spreading love, unity and joy is the purpose of PUMA’s Gear Box, a modified bus that will undertake a funfilled footballing roadtrip across South Africa from 1 June until 11 July 2010.
5fm’s DJ Fresh and Euphonik will get the party started by doing a live broadcast from Barba‘s in Bloemfontein on 2 June where the bus will make its first stop.
PUMA’s Gear Box, converted by Designamite, is fully equipped as a mobile store so that fans across the country will be able to shop onboard. The interior of the former Mercedes Lux Liner owes its customer-friendly design to ‘The Passion’ bass guitarist from the Dirty Skirts.
NICE ONE, PASH!
Besides taking in smaller country towns, the Gear Box will also make appearances at PUMA Party Safaris that are planned for Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth, Pretoria, Cape Town and Durban.
Key arrival dates for the PUMA Gear Box:
2 June – Bloemfontein (Barba’s)
4 June – Johannesburg (Party Safari at The Woods Live)
11 June – Port Elizabeth (Party Safari at Balizza)
18 June – Pretoria (Party Safari at Ekaya)
25 June – Cape Town (Party Safari at The Temple)
2 July – Durban (Party Safari at Zulu Jazz Lounge)
8 – 11 July – Johannesburg
PUMA is also partnering with Hummba, a social network for people on the move, so fans can visit www.hummba.com/puma or www.pumaunity.com to keep track of the bus.
