This just in: Robert Mugabe is sending an ark filled to the rafters with animals to our Dear Leader.
Zimbabwe has begun rounding up wildlife destined for North Korea and would have completed the sale to Kim Jong Il’s isolated dictatorship by the end of this month, a senior parks official said on Wednesday.
North Korea is importing species of elephant, giraffe, jackal, zebra, catfish, civet, blue monkey and spotted hyena. The animals will be kept at a Pyongyang zoo, said Vitalis Chadenga, head of Zimbabwe’s National Parks and Wildlife.
What might this mean? Here are the possibilities:
1) Kim Jong Il knows something we don’t. Are there two of every kind in that boat?
2) North Korea’s nuclear warheads will be propelled by green-energy. And by “green energy”, we of course mean the all-powerful rhino horn.
3) The species names “elephant, giraffe, jackal, zebra, catfish, civet, blue monkey and spotted hyena” are interchangeable with the term “MDC ministers of parliament”, and “Pyongyang zoo” is interchangeable with “labour camp”.
Rock on, Robert. But please, ask Kimmy for a stylish pair of shades when you next chat?
Maybe these ones?
