Before we get started, just a quick recap. You know how your iPhone knows which restaurant you are at when you use Foursquare? Well, as it turns out, the same technology can also be used to find other people in your nearby vicinity who are just as horny as you.
Grindr is an app that allows users to see photos of nearby, fellow gay men, arranged from closest to furthest from you. If you like what you see, you send the guy a message, organise a place to hook up, and well, hookup. Here is an example of what the app looks like:
Last week, Paris Hilton and a friend were driving in a New York taxi. The taxi driver secretly recoded the conversation – and came up with this chunk of gold.
In the audio clip below, you can hear her friend tell her about Grindr. He complains about logging in all the time – only to constantly get harassed by guys wanting to get down with him. Paris then responds by uttering the following:
Gay guys are the horniest people in the world…they’re disgusting. Dude, most of them probably have AIDS. I would be so scared if I was a gay guy…you’ll, like, die of AIDS.
Her representative has since responded with the following statement:
Paris Hilton’s comments were to express that it is dangerous for anyone to have unprotected sex that could lead to a life-threatening disease.
Before listening to the below clip, I have to warn you: Not only is her language very foul, but her voice is also terribly annoying!
