This is why you don’t tempt fate. Or use stupid sayings. Or tweet whilst driving. Or tweet while driving drunk, while “going 120 drifting corners.” This is the fate that was suffered by a Canadian rapper and his friends recently, after deciding to have a little too much fun.
Ervin McKinness, or Inkky AKA Je’welz, was an aspiring Canadian rapper. He was apparently blowing up on the Canadian rap scene, because he had just found out that he got signed to a local label. He and some friends decided that some celebration was in order. What better way to do it than getting in a car and driving around drunk, because, you know – You Only Live Once.
His tweets paint a pretty picture of how the evening went for him and his friends:
The 2005 Nissan Sentra allegedly then ran a red light, lost control and slammed into a wall before coming to rest in the backyard of a suburban home. All of the five passengers died, four on impact and one on arrival at a nearby hospital.
Oh well, YOLO.
