You might have caught the story in the Sunday Times about ex-Springbok player Earl Rose and his wife (Amor) ploughing their BMW into the famous Ooskus fish & chips shop in Gordon’s Bay. Here is the CCTV footage.
According to Timeslive:
Dramatic video footage shows rugby player Earl Rose staggering topless from a fish and chips take-away that was demolished by his car in a bizarre crash.
The 28-year-old former Springbok fullback and his wife, Amor, are facing charges of reckless and negligent driving after ploughing into the front counter of the popular eatery in Gordon’s Bay.
Ooskus Fisheries, which has served fresh calamari and other seafood delights in the coastal town for nearly 40 years, exploded in a cloud of concrete and dust shortly after 3am last Sunday.
