National Geographic’s 2012 Traveller Photo Contest Winners [GALLERY]

The winners of the 24th annual National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest have just been announced. These images were chosen from more than 12 000 entries submitted by 6 615 photographers from 152 countries!
The photo above was taken by Lucia Griggi, and features a surfer surfing Cloud Break – a unique wave regulated and owned by the Tavarua Surf Resort in Fiji.
Below are the other nine winners – chosen from four categories: Travel Portraits, Outdoor Scenes, Sense of Place, and Spontaneous Moments:
