As if the internet hasn’t yet reached its full potential for secondhand embarrassment, an Elon Musk superfan decided to grace us all with a music video.

Filmed, naturally, on the back of a Tesla Cybertruck, the right-wing influencer sings the praises of the billionaire’s so-called “master plan to save our lives.”

Strap in, folks; you’re in for one crazy ride.

Meet Alessandra Basher, a stay-at-home mom with stand-up comedy aspirations and, apparently, a deep-seated need to serenade Musk. Basher posted the now-infamous video to X on Sunday for her 5,600 followers (and, unfortunately, the rest of us), where she croons her love letter song to the tech mogul while donning a “The Dogefather” t-shirt. The internet, predictably, responded with a collective cringe.

The song, set against clips of Musk speaking at Trump rallies (subtle!), credits the billionaire for everything from self-driving cars to “eliminating woke pain” – a phrase that sounds like it was generated by an AI trained exclusively on Musk’s own tweets.

Basher even applauds Musk for “making kids to keep mankind alive,” because what’s a proper ode to a billionaire without also thanking him for personally repopulating the species? The song also comes across like a strange praise song, except it’s not about Jesus but the guy who calls anyone who calls him out ‘retards’ on X.

And then there are the lyrics: “One more kid, one more brand, launching rockets with just one hand.” We have so many follow-up questions, but let’s move on.

The video quickly earned the title of “most cringe thing on the internet right now,” reported The Independent, even on Musk’s own platform.

“That is so much cringe,” one person reacted. “There’s cringe. And then there’s this s***,” added another, presumably while shielding their eyes.

“Literally the most cringe thing on the internet right now,” someone else declared, presumably after consulting all available sources of cringe.

“Can’t tell if this is parody. But it’s definitely creepy either way,” another user mused, echoing the collective confusion of humanity.

Someone else aptly commented that “It’s giving North Korea” – you know, the awful propaganda earworms that Kim Jong Un uses to convince people he is cool and fun and worth having as their dictator.

Even some Musk loyalists struggled with the video’s level of devotion. “Huge Elon fan but I hated every second of this,” one admitted, while others debated whether it was satire or simply a byproduct of living in 2025.

“I thought this was satire for sure, but it’s obviously impossible to tell in these ridiculous times,” another added, possibly while reevaluating their life choices.

Basher, unfazed by the digital roasting, clapped back at her critics. “I’m not trying to have a baby with Elon,” she clarified, which is good to know, though absolutely no one had asked.

“I’m just having fun creating and performing a song to say thanks for what he did and is doing for this country and the world.”

Despite the overwhelming cringe factor, some Musk fans were charmed. “I now listen to it every time I drive my CT,” one fan confessed (which frankly seems like a self-inflicted punishment).

“Alessandra, you are a star. That is fantastically good. Superbly done,” another gushed, proving that the internet will always contain multitudes.

The video has amassed 1.8 million views so far, though Musk himself has yet to acknowledge it – probably too busy doing, well, whatever it is he does.

Meanwhile, Tesla is facing record trade-ins and the brand contends with mounting competition and political backlash. In fact, there were even reports that Elon was asked to step down as boss.

At least Elon seems to have at least one devoted troubadour in his corner.
