The incident that occurred in Darnall on the KwaZulu-Natal north coast on Saturday appears to have involved only the single beer truck that had been overturned.
Word of the accident spread and soon the scene was buzzing — not just with curious onlookers, but also with opportunistic “volunteers”, unusually eager to assist in “clearing the road”.

Officials and passers-by swarmed the vicinity but soon began to scatter as a swarm of bees joined the fun, resulting in some beer liberators, and police, getting stung.
People can be seen fleeing and swiping at the bees, while the guy recording has a lekker laugh.
Naturally, commentators on the video also saw the humour, with some even noting that it may be a good idea for cash-in-transit vehicles to start carrying beehives as a deterrent.
