A heartbroken New York mom, reeling from a painful breakup, tragically leapt to her death at Niagara Falls with her two young children after sharing a haunting series of posts on her heartbreak.
Despite the raw emotions revealed, police confirm her ex-partner played no role in the devastating tragedy.
Under the fake name Diamond Scott, 33-year-old Chianti Means shared emotional Facebook posts in the weeks leading up to the tragic day when, according to police, she intentionally crossed the guardrail at Niagara’s Luna Island with her children, 9-year-old Roman Rossman and 5-month-old Mecca Means. According to New York state police, the search and rescue efforts were unsuccessful.
The heartbreaking posts painted a picture of deep turmoil in the lead-up to this devastating act, per The New York Post.
“I wish someone would love me because the man that’s suppose to does not,” she wrote late last month, days before saying she was “sick of irritation, anger, sadness and rage.”
“Everyone please leave me alone I’m in love with my daughter father,” she wrote a few days later, on Oct. 1. “I want my family back. Respectfully Idgaf what I said about him before or what anyone else thinks.”
On the same day, she shared a haunting message: “You have to hold on to the ones you love. Never know when you might lose them.”
In one of her last exchanges, she faced questions about why she and her ex had parted ways.
“Cause I was a dumb a– pregnant bitch who swore up & down I ain’t want him,” she replied.
The haunting messages emerged as authorities continued to scour the area for the three bodies in the wake of Monday’s tragedy.
“The investigation has determined that this incident was intentional in nature, though the circumstances remain under investigation,” state troopers said in a Wednesday statement.
Despite the apparent heartbreak, police told The Post Thursday that no foul play is suspected in the deaths, and that the father is not suspected of anything untoward.
Meanwhile, tributes for Means and her kids flowed on social media.
“I have been speechless and crying and couldn’t sleep at all,” friend Kayshawna Morgane wrote on Facebook. “My heart is broken. Mental health is no joke.”
