Known for its cheeky advertising and mouth-watering Peri-Peri chicken, Nando’s has blessed us with another fun advert.
The ad shows a guy stuck in traffic behind a landscaping bakkie full of workers relentlessly staring at him as he navigates the daily commute.
It’s funny because it’s so real – how often have you had an awkward staredown with workers on the back of a bakkie in front of you? Do you look away, pretend to search for something on your car floor, or defiantly stare back?
In a sweet turn of events, the motorist and the labourers discover they are sharing the new Cabo Sosatie Flatbread after moving from their roadside confrontation to a communal lunch.
It’s typical Nando’s – subtly poking fun at everything South Africans endure daily, urging us to just “Stick it out”.
