The Amaryllis, a 78.43-metre Abeking & Rasmussen custom superyacht, owned by Russian businessman and former banker Andrey Borodin, is a true marvel of luxury.
Regularly featured as a backdrop by his glamorous wife on Instagram, the Amaryllis boasts palatial guest suites, striking Art Deco interiors, two gyms, a spa, and even a self-playing piano.
If that intrigues you, the whopper is currently on sale for a casual $100 million – which is a really casual R1,8 billion.
When the millionaire sought asylum in the UK in 2013, after leaving behind his career as president of the Bank of Moscow, he embraced a life of luxury by making Park Place, a historic estate in Oxfordshire, his home. The 57-year-old purchased it for a staggering $140 million, making it one of the most expensive residential property purchases, according to Daily Mail.
To compliment his home on land, Borodin procured the opulent accommodation at sea, the Amaryllis superyacht, commissioned in 2011. After nearly a decade, the grand luxury vessel, with elegant interiors inspired by Belle Époque, Art Nouveau, and Art Deco styles, is now listed for sale.
Anyone acquainted with Tatiana Korsakova, the bold and beautiful wife of Borodin, would have caught tantalising glimpses of this superyacht through her frequent Instagram posts.
The mother of three, with a dizzying 1.3 million followers, regularly shares snapshots of her glamorous life aboard the magnificent 2,108 GT vessel.

The Amaryllis accommodates 12 guests in six luxurious cabins, and unlike most boats, the guest cabins also feature walk-in wardrobes like the full-beam master suite, notes Luxury Launches.
The five-deck vessel features not one but two gyms (perhaps catering to Borodin’s model-turned-entrepreneur wife), a large jacuzzi pool, a glass elevator, and even a self-playing piano.
Unique artisan furniture by Silver Lining decorates the rooms, adding character, while the splendid superyacht also includes an impressive beach club next to a dedicated gym, a spa with a sauna, steam room, plunge pool, and a massage suite.
The Amaryllis is powered by twin 2,000hp Caterpillar 3516 diesel engines and boasts a top speed of 16.5 knots and a range of 5,085 nautical miles at 12.5 knots. The vessel was refitted in 2023 and is listed with Burgess Yachts for an asking price of $100 million.
Must be nice.
