The French hunk in the trunks, Jules Bouyer, has been a huge hit with the ladies, and men, during the 2024 Paris Olympics, renewing interest in Olympic diving with his particularly tight swimming trunks and remarkable, uhm, talent.
Fans were beside themselves earlier this week after a picture of Bouyer – who finished fifth in the final of the men’s synchronised three-metre springboard event on Friday – wearing particularly tight trunks went viral on social media.
Following the online craze, underwear company Shinesty has now offered to keep the 22-year-old’s famous bulge protected for life.
“When we saw what Olympic diver Jules Bouyer was packing in his South of France, it didn’t matter that we were an American company,” a rep for the company is quoted as saying. The company, which produces ‘Ball Hammock Pouch Underwear’ designed to provide extra support for male genitals – offered Bouyer a lifetime supply of their undies.
“We wanted to give it a gold medal and protect that front truck of his for many Olympics to come.”
Shinesty is reported to have already contacted Bouyer’s family and Olympic officials to begin discussions about a possible partnership with the diving star.
Bouyer, from Annecy, France, dove with colleague Alexis Jandard, who has also received a lot of attention for his appearance since the opening ceremony.
Described as the “only reason some people are watching the Olympics”, Bouyer had social media hot and bothered while taking a shower next to the pool after his race, with many compelled to reach out.
“I just really hope his speedo is getting paid time and a half.”
“He fills out a speedo very well.”
Some people are just gorgeous and Jules Bouyer is the clear example.”
“Vive Le Bulge.”

Despite all the attention on his swimming trunks and the family of squirrels living in them, Jules is also an accomplished diver, having started the sport at the age of six before joining the senior French team’s training camp in 2020.
He won both the Junior European and Junior World champion titles in 2021 before qualifying for an Olympics spot on home soil in Paris.
