All five members of the Spice Girls were back together again for a brief moment and fans cannot quite get over it.
The ladies – Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner and Melanie Chisholm – came together to celebrate Victoria’s 50th birthday in London on Saturday night.
If you know them as Posh, Scary, Baby, Ginger and Sporty Spice, then seeing them at a 50th birthday bash is a surefire way to make you feel old. Don’t worry, same.
The BBC reported that the bandmates partied like it was 1997 (their heyday), performing their classic song, ‘Stop’, which David Beckham shared on Instagram.
“I mean come on,” Victoria’s husband, and former England captain, 48, wrote in his caption.

Besides the classic Spice, the party, which was reported to have taken place at Oswald’s private members club in Mayfair, saw a bunch of other celebrity appearances from the likes of Tom Cruise, Salma Hayek, Eva Longoria, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Gordon Ramsay.
Just as the party was about to get started, Victoria shared a series of photos on Instagram of her family, including her husband and the couple’s four children – Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.

Interestingly, Brooklyn’s wife Nicola Peltz Beckham was nowhere to be seen. We know that Posh has had recurring issues with the model and actress for some time, so perhaps she wasn’t invited at all.

Although the fashion designer wasn’t using her crutches in the pictures she shared on social media, she’s been hobbling about on them since breaking her foot during a workout in February.

But that didn’t stop her from adding a little Posh to the Spice Girls.
The Spice Girls came together in 1994, rallying in response to an advertisement seeking members for an all-female ensemble. Following the debut of their smash hit single ‘Wannabe’ in 1996, a tidal wave of “Spice mania” engulfed the globe, fueled by their distinctive “Girl Power” ethos—a potent blend of female empowerment that propelled them into the stratosphere of global pop culture.
The group finally split up in 2001 and then they reunited for tours in 2007 and a performance at the London Olympics closing ceremony in 2012, as well as a European tour that took place in 2019, but without Victoria.
Fans on social media were overjoyed to see the five Spice Girls back together for the first time in years, with many commenting on Beckham’s post.
“David, you are the best social media manager out there, thank you for giving the people content,” wrote one.
“The moment the entire planet has been waiting for,” wrote another.
“How my daughter feels about Taylor Swift is how I feel about these girls,” a third person said.
Other fans begged the band to go on tour again, with one asking: “Can we have a word about transporting this to Glastonbury please?”
Unfortunately, Coral, the bookmaker, has significantly reduced the odds of an official Spice Girls reunion in 2024, as well as a Glastonbury appearance and the release of a new album in 2025, in the wake of the birthday celebration performance
