Settled within the picturesque Schirmacher Oasis, the camp has two Scandinavian-inspired lodging units designed to accommodate at least 14 guests, alongside a dining area boasting breathtaking vistas and a traditional Banya, or Russian steam bath. Each lodging unit can be tailored to suit solo adventurers, couples, or families, offering personalised options. Visitors share bio-shower and bathroom amenities, as well as a lounge affording panoramic views of the Oasis ice lake.

Guests have the chance to immerse themselves in quintessential Antarctic adventures, such as journeying to the South Pole, observing majestic emperor penguin colonies, scaling mountains, and delving into ice caves and walls. During the peak summer months of December and January, the Oasis is enveloped by freshwater lakes and cascading waterfalls. Short, ten-minute hikes cater to various skill levels, leading hikers to the brink of the ever-shifting ice sheet.
Besides the possibility of spotting emperor penguins via a brief flight from Ultima Oasis Camp, wildlife enthusiasts may encounter Antarctic skuas, Wilson’s storm petrels, and snow petrels at the Oasis.
