Prince Harry has been named in Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones’ $30 million sex trafficking and sexual abuse lawsuit against music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
Combs is facing a litany of sexual assault allegations, with a legal notice stating that he drew guests to his infamous parties through his VIP associations with “celebrities such as famous athletes, political figures, artists, musicians and international dignitaries like British Royal, Prince Harry”.
The 73-page lawsuit – filed last month by record producer Rodney Jones accusing the billionaire of being a serial sex abuser – did not reveal any wrongdoing on Harry’s part but merely mentioned how he was the only celebrity mentioned by name when it came to Combs using famous faces to legitimise his alleged sex parties, per The Independent.
Both Harry and his brother Prince William were pictured with Combs and Kanye West in 2007 after the musicians performed in the Concert for Diana at Wembley Stadium. Combs went on to gush about Harry in 2012, telling The Sun, “I really can’t wait to get to the U.K. as London is one of my favourite cities. I’m also hoping I’ll get to catch up with Prince Harry while I’m there.”
The rapper added, “He’s such a cool guy and it’s about time we hung out. I need him to take me to some of those wild Mayfair clubs.”
The news of Harry’s mention in Jones’ lawsuit comes after Combs’ mansions in Los Angeles and Miami were raided by the Department of Homeland Security on March 25 in connection with a federal sex trafficking investigation.
Jones claimed in his lawsuit that when he worked as a producer on Combs’ 2023 album, the artist forced him to procure sex workers, even if they were underage, and engage in unwanted sex acts with them.
Combs has denied the claims, which he described as “pure fiction”. Meanwhile, he is facing lawsuits from three other women. In November last year, Combs was sued by his former girlfriend R&B singer Cassie Ventura in November 2023, who accused him of rape and physical abuse that took place for over a decade. She alleged that she was lured into an “ostentatious, fast-paced, and drug-fueled lifestyle” with one of the “most powerful men in the entertainment industry”.
The three other lawsuits followed over the next month, alleging that he had sexually abused the claimants or participated in revenge pornography against them.
Also known as P. Diddy and Puff Daddy, Combs is one of the most influential hip-hop producers and executives of the 21st century and has previously worked with artists including Usher, Notorious BIG and Mary J Blige.
It looks like the downfall of bigshot Hollywood names is happening fast and furious as all their dark shenanigans come to light.
