For over 10 years, supermodel Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady were the picture-perfect celebrity couple.

Then, in 2022, she and the New England Patriots quarterback, with whom she shares two children, announced they were divorcing after 13 years of marriage.

It was widely understood that Brady’s decision to un-retire from the NFL only 40 days after announcing his exit, reportedly against Bündchen’s wishes, was the reason the couple split up.

As much as Gisele has tried to move on, actively engaged in gratitude for who she is and where she is in life, she couldn’t help but shed a tear at the great loss.

On Wednesday, March 6, ABC News released a trailer teasing an upcoming interview with the former Victoria’s Secret angel and Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts.

According to Gisele, the end of her marriage was “the death of a dream,” prompting Roberts to ask the model and mom of two a simple question: “How are you?”

Gisele starts to reply, before becoming so emotional she can no longer speak and instead turns her head away from the camera and asks for a little moment.

The interview teaser also highlights Gisele discussing what it’s like to co-parent with her ex-husband – the former couple share daughter Vivian, 11, and son Benjamin, 14.

The teaser also indicates that Gisele is clearly looking to seize the reigns of her public narrative.

“I think, you know, there’s easier days than others and I can only control what I do,” she said. During another moment in the trailer, Bünchen says: “Everything I’ve experienced, it made me realize what I want and what I don’t want.”

“Where my heart is now is where I am right now,” Bündchen says at the very end of the clip. “I’m living my truth and I’m not apologizing for it.”

The model’s full interview with Roberts, titled IMPACT x Nightline: Gisele Bündchen: Climbing the Mountain, begins streaming on Hulu on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the supermodel is moving on as best she can.

Three weeks ago, she confirmed the rumour of finding a new bo-thang after being photographed kissing jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente, whom she initially met in 2021 while seeking self-defence lessons for her son, she told Dust magazine.

Roberts hints at Gisele’s possible new romance in the trailer when she asks, “Think you’ll be able to open up your heart again to someone?” Smiling and looking away, Gisele simply responds, “Ummm…” before the teaser cuts out.

It seems we’ll have to wait for the full interview to hear her answer.
