Capetonians woke up to a very suspicious ‘farm-like’ smell this morning.
The source of the smell has now been confirmed by Dr Zahid Badroodien, MMC of Water and Sanitation in the City of Cape Town as a cattle ship which has been harboured in Cape Town this morning.
The recent attacks on ships in the Red Sea have resulted in many of the livestock ships bound for the West being diverted around the tip of Africa, hence the mushroom cloud of stink hanging over Cape Town today.
Badroodien has confirmed that the ship will be departing port this evening at 21:00.

One has to wonder what it must be like working on that ship. Eish.
