The girl that everyone wants to be friends with, Jeannie D, is getting married.

The television presenter, radio personality, businesswoman, model, and actress recently had Instagram squealing with delight after uploading photos of herself wearing a pink ribbon and goofy glasses with ‘Bride to Be’ in huge letters above them.

The identity of her husband-to-be is still somewhat of a mystery, but her Instagram feed is littered with pictures of herself and a handsome guy who just owns a Peaky Blinders look.

The bridal post showed her surrounded by her besties against the beautiful backdrop of Table Mountain, and a menu titled “Jeanie D’s Top Travel Bridal Shower” made the wholesome event look the way bubblegum-flavoured cotton candy smells. Very sweet.

Fans and celebrities flooded her comments with congrats, with former Miss SA and Miss Universe second runner-up Cindy Nell writing: “Beautiful, darling Jeannie – I am so happy for you and wishing you so much joy!”

As one of SA’s better, if not the best, TV presenters, Jeanie D, or Jeannie De Gouveia, bubbled into South Africa’s heart thanks to the hugely entertaining Top Travel, and as a member of the Fantastic Four of SA Female TV Presenters – along with Doreen Morris, Nicky Greenwall, and of course, Ruda Landman – Jeannie was the lilo that kept Top Billing afloat for several seasons. Now she’s adding wife to her impressive resume.
