Loyal Creekers, new Creekers and everyone in between – grab your pizza-shaped lilos and flamingo inflatables because Up the Creek is making its return from 8-11 February 2024.

As their first reunion back at the river since 2020, this next outdoor shindig is set to be big. A little birdie even told us that the festival passes are already 82% or so sold out. Not sure where that figure stands now, but there are 2,500 tickets available in total.

So if you’re keen on four days of great music, good food, chilled vibes, short queues, and a whole lot of gees, then you’re going to want to grab your festie besties and fancy blow-ups and jump on those tickets ASAP.

Established in 1990, Up the Creek is the second longest-running outdoor music festival in South Africa. Set annually on the banks of the magical Breede River, about 23 kilometres outside Swellendam in the Western Cape.

Jose Cuervo presents Up The Creek 2024 phase 1 artists have already been revealed:

Local hitmaker and muso, Jeremy Loops, along with BreakOut Events founder and event-industry veteran, Damon Forbes, are proud to announce their festival buy-in partnership for Up The Creek outdoor music festival. Both Jeremy and Damon have years of entertainment and live event experience under their belts and look to bring a wealth of knowledge and impact to the already popular outdoor music festival.

Jeremy Loops is a multi-award-winning South African singer, songwriter, and event and record producer with an extensive career on local and international stages. Damon Forbes has spearheaded many local artist careers over his time in the industry and at the helm of BreakOut Events, who have promoted many international acts on their SA Tours with the likes of Milky Chance, A-Ha, Bonobo, Calum Scott, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Bombay Bicycle Club, Seether, Diplo, and many more.

With less than two months to go, the countdown to Jose Cuervo presents Up the Creek 2024 has already begun! Early Bird & Phase 1 tickets have already sold out, and only a limited number of Phase 2 tickets remain for the four-day Summer festival. The 2024 festival not only kicked off with a major ticket rush but this time, pre-loaded with a dynamic entertainment duo in the wings.
