It’s official, kangaroos are not cute.
Don’t talk to me about their little baby pouch when some of them look like a Joburg boet out on the jol about to deck someone for checking out his girl.
A TikTok video has just gone viral, showing a man battling a JACKED-UP kangaroo in Australia to rescue his dog. The whole scene is bizarre, least of all how the Roo has someone’s dog in a chokehold in the middle of a river.
The video, which has racked up a solid 4,9 million views, shows the man approaching the wild animal, imploring it to “let go of my dog” before getting pummeled by its beefy arms. When the kangaroo retaliated, it dislodged the phone from the man’s hand and sent it plunging into the water.
Remarkably, the man seems to be completely unfazed by this, frankly, horrifying ordeal, retrieving his phone, laughing, and returning to shore where his dog eagerly awaited him. It couldn’t have been a bit, wild animals wouldn’t be in on that.
The internet is obviously alarmed by the kangaroo’s aggressive behaviour and massive muscles, putting it among the roster of entities one should decidedly avoid at all costs.
Don’t you dare come at me, bro. Please, I am so small in comparison.
