Cape Town’s platinum-selling groove masters, GoodLuck, are going back to the Northern Hemisphere on a six-city tour that includes a performance at London’s legendary O2 Academy.
GoodLuck has announced their six-city tour ‘GoodLuck Live in UK & Ireland’ for this October and November and have already broken their own record by selling out the London show in less than eight hours.
The multi-city tour will see the band perform in Brighton, Southampton, Sheffield, Manchester, and at London’s O2 Academy, and for the first time ever, performing in Ireland at Dublin’s The New Academy venue.
The band’s music is madly diverse and continually evolving, with the trio of Jules, Ben and Tim have been touring the world since 2013 with a clear focus on using their music as a force for good.
GoodLuck’s high-energy live shows are redefining live electronic performances with the art of storytelling through dance music, leading them to become one of South Africa’s most celebrated pop bands. Along the way, the band has managed to produce ten #1 charting radio hits in South Africa, 26 top 40 charting singles, and win a SAMA Award.
With three gold records, and I’ve Been Thinking About You going platinum, it’s no wonder GoodLuckhas sold out venues in Berlin, Amsterdam, Den Haag, and even Hanoi.
In some ways, GoodLuck is the biggest best-kept secret. An act that has performed alongside some of the top artists in the world like Pharrell Williams, Groove Armada, Martin Garrix, Lost Frequencies, Basement Jaxx, Jungle and more.
The band’s lead vocalist, Juliet Harding says, “We are so looking forward to connecting with all of our beautiful fans from across the pond! The energy of our UK fans is unmatched! I’ll never forget the sweat dripping off the ceiling the last time we played The Garage – it was a wild and crazy hot night!”
“It’s a show that is about forgetting your worries, putting aside all the nonsense the world is throwing at us and letting go for a few hours of absolute fun!”.
Following the European tour, GoodLuckwill be heading back East for a headline slot at the Monsoon Festival in the historical setting of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, in Vietnam – a concert that attracts over 25,000 festival-goers every year.
Relentless touring has even inspired the tri to create their own summer festival series, Get Lucky Summer, as well as their music and safari festival Beats in the Bush which has grown to sell around 25,000 tickets every year.

Just in case South Africans have too much FOMO, the band will also be performing in Johannesburg in early December, and two of our lucky readers will soon have a chance to win tickets to go see GoodLuck live. Keep ’em peeled for details, and Goodluck!
This is definitely going to be GoodLuck’s summer, and if you simply can’t wait for the next few months to roll along, let Jules, Ben and Tim remind you to just take it easy. Summer’s almost here!
