Steven Kitshoff seems to be taking the underwear baton from Faf for the 2023 Rugby World Cup (RWC) as social media is taking a closer look at the hooker’s pink underpants.

The Bok star’s wardrobe malfunction occurred after Kitshoff gathered the ball and charged into his opponents at one point in the team’s recent match, resulting in a maul. What followed was one of the biggest wedgies the RWC has produced thus far.

To add insult to injury, the sight of Kitshoff’s bright pink underwear was on full display for an unnecessary slow-mo replay of the moment. Adding to the funny, the words ‘budgy smuggler’ was emblazoned on the back. Now I wonder what that means…

Rugby World Cup fans were left in tears of laughter as some took to social media to share a clip of the incident, believing Kitshoff to be a fan of the new Barbie movie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.

One Twitter user joked: “Bro chose to be a Barbie girl mid-game,” while another tweeted: “My favourite Barbie.”

We can giggle all we want, the fact is that Kitshoff was instrumental in the 18-3 victory over Scotland on Sunday, so if the fearless ginger wants to wear pink underwear, let him. It seems to work.
