Elon Musk Says He’ll Pay Legal Fees For Your Risky Posts And Likes

It seems like the one thing Musk can offer his followers on X is dollah-dollah bills, so he'll take his chances. Let's see if the tech-bro actually forks out for the legal aid, or if he gets distracted by yet more social media shenanigans.

Elon Musk is making sweeping statements again on his platform formally known as Twitter, now X.

While we’re all becoming used to Musk running his mouth (or rather, his tweeting fingers), including his recent challenges to Facebook mogul Mark Zuckerberg, the recent post on X encouraged the platform’s users to procure legal funding from Musk for any Tweets and likes that have gotten them into trouble.

The tech weirdo that everyone loves to hate told followers that this promise carries “no limit”, i.e. if you can convince Musk that you’ve got a case, he’ll throw the money at you.

The South African-born billionaire also added that he would utilise the X platform to be “extremely loud” in defence of his followers (as if he wasn’t loud enough already).

The story gets juicier as Musk already seems to have his first opportunity to put his money where his Tweet is.

Just this morning, a user with a sizeable following of 19.9 thousand, expressed to Musk in a comment reply to the Tweet that he had been ‘doxxed’ as well as fired from his employment for an iffy tweet and a picture posted on the platform.

Being ‘doxxed’ can be a really serious issue, as the act involves gathering confidential personal information in order to leak the info online.

While it seems that Musk is already interested in the user’s case, many are skeptical that he’ll actually pull through financially for issues such as this.

Some reckon it’s just another symptom of the tantrum that Musk is throwing in response to Zuckerberg’s Threads platform.
