David Beckham has reportedly been left feeling “absolutely bloody furious” after his and Victoria’s friendship with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex is speculated to be over.

The cause of the besties’ fight seems to be Harry and Meghan’s paranoia about the Beckhams having leaked information about the couple to tabloids.

The Beckhams have been close friends with the royal black sheep since they moved to the United States to escape the British tabloids. But royal paranoia over supposed ‘leaks’ have now finally pushed their closest friends away as well.

The two couples are said to have bonded over the fact David’s communications director, Izzy May, was close with Markus Anderson – the chief membership officer for the private social club Soho House – where he played matchmaker between Meghan and Harry.

The accusations happened during a rather tense phone call between the pairs, and it seems their honeymoon, and relationship, could now be over.

“David is absolutely bloody furious. Any making up now is so unlikely.”

In his new book, royal autobiographer Tom Bower has claimed that Meghan and Harry were “addicted” to reading negative press coverage on themselves, and spent hours online looking for any unwanted attention.

It’s gotten so bad that the pair are suspecting most of their closest friends of leaking stories to the press. Presumably, the head that doesn’t wear the crown also gets heavy sometimes.

Meghan was apparently the first to suspect Victoria, and as princes do, David called Harry to discuss the accusations. As mentioned, it didn’t end well for the foursome.

“Harry was very polite, but obviously it was a pretty awkward exchange and David was mortified. Inexplicably, [Meghan] feared Victoria was behind it — I mean, the idea that Victoria Beckham would be personally ringing journalists to give them a scoop is ridiculous.”

The details of the ‘leak’ were said to be a range of beauty tips Victoria had shared with Meghan before she originally moved to London. A source said: “It later turned out the leak probably came from a beauty salon.”

So matters of importance then.

David and Victoria have always enjoyed a close relationship with the Royal Family, with both given OBEs for their respective services – David for his footballing career in 2003, and services to the fashion industry for Victoria in 2017.

It seems as if Meghan and Harry’s Whatsapp group is getting smaller by the day.
