The American Horror Story franchise is known for its beautiful visuals, as well as creepy ambience, and the freshly released trailer for AHS season 12, subtitled Delicate, seems to indicate we are in for some more stunning terror.

While most of the plot details remain under wraps, the trailer gives horror fans their first glimpse at Kim Kardashian’s character, alongside Cara Delevingne and Emma Roberts.

The story for the new season is adapted from Danielle Valentine’s novel Delicate Condition, and Kim will be playing the character of Siobhan Walsh.

AHS tends to recycle most of its actors, but every season does give us a fresh new face to either love, hate, or fear. The addition of Lady Gaga in AHS: Hotel is a good argument for including uber-famous people in the cast, as the singer proved to be one of the standout characters in that instalment.

We might have to do some work to get around the Kardashian aura, but still, Kim’s performance has to be seen to be believed. Granted, the lady has been taking acting lessons, so we’ll give her some rope.

In the trailer, Kanye’s ex is seen wearing a platinum blonde wig, with her skin painted white. At the end of the clip, Kim is seen cradling a baby. Hopefully, she does more than pout and look gothy in the series.

The reality TV star, while speaking to a media outlet, on the red carpet at the 2023 Met Gala, said: “We start shooting my stuff at the end of this month. But production has already started and I’m so excited.”

Perhaps by focusing on Kim, we are already stepping into the too-famous trap that might just water down the believability of the new season, so let’s just see what she does and leave it at that. Instead, we can focus on a series regular, Emma Roberts, who has thus far done a brilliant job in her various roles during the last few instalments.

Emma Roberts is, of course, Eric Roberts’ daughter, and niece to Julia Roberts, so she has the acting gene down. It would however be awesome to see her father Eric in one of the upcoming seasons. Although not as famous as his sis, Eric has always been just one role away from true Hollywood stardom.
