“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them.” Unless you are the Bushiri’s, in which case you throw their asses out in the cold, along with their teachers, desks, and chairs.
In a shocking turn of events, the Bushiri Ministries evicted Kids Milestone Primary School from its property in Blue Hills, Midrand just hours before the start of the new school term.
After receiving only a Whatsapp message from the school’s management on Monday morning, books, furniture, and other belongings were unceremoniously dumped at the school gate, causing distress among parents and learners that were expecting to start a new term.
We’re pretty sure that is not what Jesus would have done. But then again, the Bushiri’s don’t seem too fazed by what the man upstairs thinks.
The school is now taking the whole ungodly situation to court in hopes that man’s law would hold in their favour.
“We are waiting for the court interdict. We believe it will rule in our favour. We will update you of the outcome as soon as it comes. For inquiries kindly contact the school or come by the school. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
According to sources, the Bushiri Ministries had acquired the school property a few years ago, however, it has now been sold to a new owner, leading to the eviction. A letter sent to the school on June 13 notified them of the eviction, but the principal, however, claims they were ‘taken by surprise and unaware of the need to leave’.
The letter from Bushiri Ministries reads: “This is to certify that on the 13 June 2023 at 17:15 at plot 36, Main Road, Blue Hills, Midrand, Johannesburg being the place of business of Milestone Primary School, a copy of the order was duly served upon Cecelia [an] employee, a responsible person, after the original document had been shown and the nature and contents thereof explained to the said person.”
In summary, ‘a responsible person got the note’, so suffer the little children.
The school’s owner and principal, Pastor James, has confirmed that alternative arrangements were being sought for the pupils to ensure that the academic calendar continued uninterrupted.
With all the nonsense that the Bushiri’s have put people through, it has now finally come to the point where the poor kids have to bear the burden of a charlatan’s actions. It’s a disgrace.
Parents are obviously outraged and feel betrayed by the eviction.
“The kids are here, and us as parents as well, everyone is frustrated. Our challenge now is that some of us have paid the school fees in full.”
Paid in full sounds like the kind of hymn the prophet usually grooves to on his $1.25 million (R22 million) aeroplane he paid for with church tithes. You know, the aeroplane he proclaimed was an ‘investment’ in South Africa when he applied for residency.
Back on God’s green earth, the kids are now faced with finding their education somewhere else, or as the school caretaker, Alex Manda, says: “We are very traumatized because we were not expecting what is going on today, but there is nothing we can do because we do not have the power. We have kids and now we do not know where we are going to go with our kids. We are very upset.”
The Gauteng Department of Education has indicated that they will try to facilitate the allocation of learners to nearby schools. If there was any justice, they would rather put their foot down on the whole Bushiri mess, but after releasing the guy on R 200 000 bail in 2020, he’s chilling in Malawi.
So yeah, suffer the little children. Where’s a lightning bolt when you need one?
