Allison Mack, the disgraced Superman actress who was jailed for her part in the now infamous Nxivm sex cult, has been released early from prison.

Mack had been sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to charges including racketeering and conspiracy, but under a Trump-era law called the First Step Act (FSA), she qualified for an early release.

The FSA allows federal inmates to earn up to 54 days of ‘good conduct’ credit for every year of their imposed sentence. Inmates may also be released up to 12 months early if they complete the Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP).

Mack had been incarcerated at the ‘celebrity prison’ where fellow law-breakers like Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman served their sentences for their role in the college admissions scandal. Even prison can be lekker when you’re famous. Mind you, we haven’t seen much of the Desperate Housewives actress since her release.

Mack was sentenced to three years in prison after she pleaded guilty to charges including racketeering and conspiracy for her role as a prominent leader within Nxivm, the dismantled, Keith Raniere-led self-help group some have characterized as a cult.

She faced a maximum of 40 years behind bars, though federal sentencing guidelines recommended a lower punishment of 14 to 17½ years, which was then dropped to three years after she snitched on the sex cult.

Mack was among six people accused of sex trafficking, forced labour, racketeering, wire fraud, and other charges for their roles in Nxivm, which operated out of Albany, New York, but suspended operations in 2018.

Federal investigators claimed Mack brought women into DOS, which was purported to be a female mentorship group to address members’ weaknesses but instead, was used to take advantage of women sexually.

As for the ‘big daddy’ of Nxvim, Raniere is currently serving a 120-year sentence for sex crimes and other charges. If you have forgotten about these perverts’ exploits, the Netflix doccie, The Vow, gave everyone a glimpse into the demented mindset of Mack and her gang.

As for Mack, she says that her life will be devoted to making up for her mistakes. Hopefully, she doesn’t find Scientology to get some ‘clarity’. Two cults don’t make a right.
