Amazon thought they were cool when they introduced a drone delivery system, but drones are soo 2022, and so Domino’s Pizza tested its first-ever pizza delivery via jetpack. And it looks as cool as it sounds.
Domino’s partnered with Gravity Industries, which designed a fully customized suit that keeps both the pilot safe and the pizza warm.
The cost of the suit hasn’t been disclosed yet, but it is believed to be in the ‘hundreds of thousands of pounds,’ so don’t expect Mr. Delivery to ditch their scooters just yet. Also, can you imagine the food raining from the sky every time Checkers Sixty60 goes tearing overhead? Nah, this is a bit too high-tech for our crazy delivery guys.
Footage of the new jetpack was released on Monday, showing the delivery person wearing the jet suit picking up the order from the store, and delivering it to customers in likely the coolest delivery ever.

Videos of these jetpacks are becoming more common, and several countries have begun to employ them for search and rescue operations, as well as looking at the possibility of using them for wartime purposes.
