One of Ryan Gosling’s famous friends has revealed that the Barbie heartthrob is a ‘Disney adult’, and goes to the theme park by himself to enjoy the magic with a special mixtape.

Actor John Stamos recently disclosed his own obsession with the magical kingdom, and to underscore that it’s not that weird, he confessed that he and Gisloing bonded over their shared love of Mickey Mouse’s home.

It was during a dinner at a friend’s house that Stamos finally got over the ’embarrassment’ of being a fan after the topic of his ‘secret’ was raised while chatting to Gosling.

‘Six or seven years ago, I was like, “Man, I gotta shed this Disney thing, [because] who’s gonna take me seriously with the Mickey Mouse stuff? I’ve gotta distance myself from it.”‘

To Stamos’ surprise, the Barbie actor admitted that he was ”obsessed’ with the theme park and sometimes goes by himself.’

‘I’m obsessed. I’m a Disney adult. I go there by myself. I wear headphones. I go on rides. I have a mixtape.’

Stamos went on to talk about what a positive impact the theme park has had on him as a person and actor, claiming that once you walk through the gates, the world goes away.

‘I think it really defined who I am as an artist, as a human because it was just so full of optimism.’

Gosling’s infatuation with all things Disney might stem from his early years as a Mickey Mouse club presenter, alongside Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, and Christina Aguilera. Britney in particular could likely do with some Disney in her life.

Gosling famously snubbed the 2015 Oscars to join filmmaker Guillermo Del Toro for a day out at Disney, which tells you about as much as you need to know.

Gosling has recently dived back into ‘fantasy land’ with his appearance in the new Barbie movie, in which he plays Ken.

The actor has always been a bit of a strange dude and tends to keep to himself when not onscreen. His SNL appearances also give us a glimpse into his strange sense of humour, and in many ways, he resembles his Bladerunner co-star, Harrison Ford, who also keeps his work and family life separate.

Ryan and Eva Mendez have been a couple for two decades now, and recently it was revealed that the pair married in private when Mendez referred to him as her husband. The private couple has two daughters together.

For all the guys who feel weird about still playing Lego at 45, always remember that one of the world’s hottest guys still loves Mickey Mouse, and is married to Eva Mendez.
