It looks like Sydneysiders can’t stop destroying Lambos for just one week.
Someone with a lead foot just crashed their Lamborghini into a car yard in Concord, Sydney, which so happens to be a few days after a 2022 Lamborghini Huracán Evo was completely melted in the country down under after being targeted in a highly suspicious arson attack that’s reportedly connected to organised crime.
Don’t fight me, but clearly, Sydney is full of terrible drivers.
This latest Lambo-destroying situation involved a Lamborgini Huracan 724 coupe that somehow became wedged on top of a Ford Falcon. 9News reported the driver lost control of the expensive rental sports car, fishtailed off Parramatta Road in Concord into a car yard, smashing three cars at once and then wedging the Lambo on top of the poor parked Ford Falcon ute.
Daily Mail notes that the Ford Falcon is likely valued at $16 999 while the Lamborghini rental is worth at least $600 000 – over R11 million.
According to the police, the driver fled the scene before they arrived, with witnesses claiming that the driver told them he didn’t want to involve the police and said he and would deal with the hire company directly. That must be code for, something was in his system at the time of the crash, surely.
Fire Rescue NSW Superintendent Adam Dewberry said the driver was incredibly fortunate not to have struck power poles or something equally as dangerous.
Supt. Dewberry also said the public was lucky the accident happened when few people were around.
Watch RV Motors owner Christopher Quach speak to 9News about the crazy incident:
It is a small miracle that no one was injured, but it is almost impressive how the car managed to get wedged on top of the ute like that.
Apparently, the driver did eventually get into contact with the police.
