The influencers must be frothing.
For around R90 000 a night, you can now stay in a retired Boeing 737 turned luxury villa in Bali.
Perched on a cliff overlooking the sea, the Private Jet Villa by Hanging Gardens is finally open to visitors. As the brainchild of entrepreneur Felix Denim, the plane has undergone an incredible transformation after being purchased in 2021.
After five days of moving the plane into position, the renovations began, infusing the space with the utmost luxury using materials like wood, stone, travertine marble and gold accents.
Having been completely stripped bare, gone are the trappings of the plane’s former life with a final design that is totally sumptuous and unique, notes My Modern Met.
The high-flying villa has two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and walk-in closets, with the bedroom at the head of the plane including a jacuzzi with an ocean view in the cockpit:

A cutout on one wing fills the space with light and allows immediate access to the wing terrace, where it’s possible to take in sweeping views of the landscape:
At the centre is a wet bar, the perfect spot for entertaining, while guests can access a pool set into the cliff, as well as a fireplace and barbecue by walking down some stairs:

Designed with real jet setters in mind, there is even a helipad on the roof of a separate reception building:
