You’ve likely shaken hands with someone who has in some capacity suggested child-free spaces so that they can enjoy their life without temper tantrums, hungry howls, or carry-me cries.

The truth is, nobody likes a crying baby, not even the parents.

One might lament screaming babies but as an adult, one does not start screaming back. Right?

Well, one grown-ass man on a Southwest Airlines plane recently caused an outrageous scene after getting into a screaming match with a crying baby.

The delayed flight to Orlando Florida was stuck in a holding pattern for 45 minutes due to weather, noted PEOPLE, when the passenger finally threw a tantrum of his own after listening to a nearby child take such liberties with its voicebox.

His swearing and yelling got so out of hand that the cabin crew had to intervene but the irate passenger continued to wail:

“Sir, you are screaming,” said a cabin crew member.

“So is the baby,” he replied. “Did that m—–f—– pay extra to yell?”

Flawless argument. But it gets better. After an air steward pleaded with the passenger to be rational, the man said:

“We are in a f—— tin can with a baby in a g–d— echo chamber and you want to talk to me about being f—— okay,” the man asks in the video before a flight attendant reminds him he’s “yelling.”

While there was clearly no silencing the man, the baby also continued to scream:

When he was asked to lower his voice, he responded, “Lower that baby’s voice!”

Another passenger recorded the rage incident, posting it on TikTok where it found a huge audience:

The TikToker, Mark Grabowski claimed that the man was “refusing to get off the plane” in Orlando — eventually prompting everyone on the flight to get “deplaned”:

The irate passenger was later shown in the video talking to authorities and airline employees away from the aircraft. “He tried to plead his case that he had a right to yell because there [were] two adults with the crying baby and he shouldn’t have been disturbed,” the TikTok user wrote. “Well, that’s probably not how his wife imagined their Florida getaway going.”

Grabowski later admitted that the man must have been going through something, and although the situation didn’t make him look good, we can still have “a little sympathy”.

But did that man have a little sympathy for the baby?? Jokes, I am not a child.
