“Lick it, spank it, drop it, camera, money, ah ah ah, more, more, more, ORGY”.
That’s the first line of dialogue we heard when the first teaser trailer came out for that wild series starring Johnny Depp’s daughter, Lily-Rose Depp.
The Idol is “from the sick and twisted minds of Abel and Sam Levinson,” AKA Abel Makkonen Tesfaye from the band The Weeknd, and Levinson being the guy behind Euphoria – so we are sure in for one hell of a ride.
Lily-Rose appears to heat up the music industry, playing the rising pop artist Jocelyn who falls into a relationship with a self-help guru and nightclub owner played by Abel himself.
According to the show’s official synopsis, the series will then follow Jocelyn as she works to “claim her rightful status as the greatest and sexiest pop star in America” after facing a nervous breakdown during her last tour.
