Surveillance footage captured the thrilling moment a hero owner fought off a gang of rookie thieves trying to steal his car from his driveway.
The brazen broad-daylight carjacking happened on April 10, according to Fox News, with the homeowner’s Ring video surveillance system capturing the entire incident on camera.
The police want the video out to try and find the four would-be carjackers, who are still on the loose after attempting to steal the red Infiniti parked in a residential driveway in Rocky Hill, Connecticut.
As soon as one lone carjacker approached the red car, the homeowner sprinted out to confront him, leading to a frenzied brawl erupting on the quiet suburban street.
After a few kicks and punches are thrown about, the suspect is joined by three other cronies, two of whom tried to strike the victim’s face while he was restrained. The other guy just seemed to stand by and watch the whole fight unfold.
Finally, the brawl was broken up when another individual inside the house yelled out that they were calling the police, watching as the gang of four suspects fled to their black Mercedes in the road.
Police noted that the man’s intervention in the attempted carjacking could have gone terribly wrong.
Being America, it’s honestly a miracle that no guns were present.
