After reporting a sunken Jeep in his favourite fishing spot, a fisherman and recovery personnel were amazed when they found the female occupant still inside and alive.
The black Jeep was spotted in Lake O’ the Pines in the eastern part of Texas on Friday by a fisherman on the south side of the lake. The vehicle’s roof was just visible above the waterline.
The female driver turned out to be a woman who had been reported missing by the Longview Texas Police Department.
She had been missing for two days by that time and was safely pulled from the water by authorities before being taken to the hospital.
Quite how she ended up in the lake, and whether she had been sitting underwater waiting for the AA tow truck was not confirmed.
