It seems like South Africans aren’t the only ones who have to take matters into their own hands when it comes to local service delivery.

But where we have Discovery and Dialdirect, the Californians have the Terminator himself filling potholes.

Instagram was abuzz with a video circulating of the Ex-Governator, Arnold Schwarzenegger laying down some tarmac over a pothole in his Los Angeles neighbourhood.

The big man seems to be quite adept at handling a spade at least.

Motorists passing by seemed quite grateful as their famous neighbour grumbled about having waited weeks for the hole to be fixed. Here in Mzansi, we know all about your pothole pain Arnold.

Hopefully for the residents in Terminator’s hood, this is one pothole that won’t be back.
