Galileo Theater 

For the entire week of your birthday, you can enjoy a free movie, a backrest, and a blankie at the Galileo Open Air Cinema. All you have to do is rock up, show your ID and even if they are full, the theatre peeps will make sure you get a space to relax as you watch a movie under the stars.

Zeitz Mocaa Museum

One of the city’s best museums, The Zeitz Mocaa, now offers all African citizens free entry on any day during their birthday month. Again, just flash your ID or passport to prove that you are getting older, and you will be let loose inside for some amazing African Art.

Tabel Mountain CabelWay

Probably one of the most well-known attractions in the city, the Cableway will put you in a little box and hoist you up the near-vertical cliffs to the top of Table Mountain for free on any day during your birthday month. 2Oceans Aquarium

Even if we share a bit of their name, we still love the aquarium and its amazing collection of local and weird-looking fishes. All you need is, you guessed it, your ID.

Upcycles At Seapoint Promenade

If you envied all the cockroaches who took part in the cycle tour, you can now take a scenic drive along your favourite coastal promenade on your birthday. Upcycles offer a free 1-hour ride on your birthday when you show your ID.

SkyHiRide

Feeling a little bummed about getting another grey hair? Skyhiride will take you on a free gravity-defying drop from their tower on your birthday. Free falling at a speed of 100km/h whilst pulling 4G’s is just the ticket to get you feeling good about your birthday, and smooth out some wrinkles. Online booking is required with your ID.
