Harry Styles has moved on from Olivia Wilde and all the drama that enveloped that fling, to do some late-night talking with someone new.

The pop singer was spotted smooching model Emily Ratajkowski on a recent trip to Japan, and naturally, the internet has erupted with myriad emotions.

The gossipy goodness runs deep with this little tryst, that’s for sure. EmRata has been through the rumour mill, with accounts of her being with everyone from Brad Pitt to Pete Davidson and even Trevor Noah.

She was last thought to be in a kind of situationship with Eric André, that comedian and actor from The Eric Andre Show. The two of them posted riské snaps on Instagram to spread the word and the sensationalised headlines.

Styles, for his part, was also at the centre of a deluge of social media reactions more than two years ago, when he was first confirmed to be dating his Don’t Worry Darling director and costar, miss Wilde.

The two were together up until just a few months ago, not without some heated drama (Olivia left her ex-husband Jason Sudeikis for Harry, nogal) when it was revealed in November that they’d split.

I guess it’s fair game for them both – and they’re both playing a pretty decent game at that – having just been caught smacking lips in Tokyo since Harry was there for his Love on Tour concerts, noted Billboard.

It is fair to say that a lot of people were appropriately grossed out by the soggy affair:

Anyway, Cosmopolitan points out that the internet might also be spiralling because:

1. The persistent and unconfirmed Deux Moi tips claiming the pair once had a threesome with Olivia Wilde.
2. The revelation that EmRata was Harry’s celebrity crush once upon a time.
3. The fact that Emily and Olivia were seen enjoying one of Harry’s show’s together before Harry’s and Olivia’s breakup.

We’ll all be patiently waiting for more moves and updates then, I guess.

These two lovebirds won’t know a dry spell even if it made their lips chap into dust.
