I love to see an inspiring rags-to-riches story, where the individual decides to pursue their dream. In many cases, the journey is a life-changing experience, where they learn a great deal about themselves, their motivations, and the sheer power of the human spirit. Most importantly, the individual develops an appreciation of time.
Nowadays, we live in a time where there is access to motivational stories and videos that can inspire us to follow our dreams. Yet, the tech bros and champions of hustle culture feel that people should pull up their socks and become wealthy by following in their footsteps. Self-anointed hustle bro influencers like Sebastien Ghiorghiu harness the power of Youtube to peddle their gospel.

Their motivational messages include helping get ahead with AI while others panic or encouraging you to become a millionaire by watching a 30-minute video. I mean, in this economy, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to become a millionaire in half an hour.
This is how Seb and other hustle gurus seem to inspire their viewers to introspect:
“If you’re a guy in your 20s and you don’t have a Lamborghini, you should actually sit down and have, like, a serious discussion with yourself as to why you don’t have a Lambo,”
“It is so incredibly easy, and there’s so much money out there.”
Aside from getting rich quickly, the Youtube hustle bro also has a penchant for “bettering themselves” by hitting the gym excessively. Sticking to unrealistic diets and trashing any form of institution. These guys seem like they have the wealth and knowledge to help their followers create a better life. However, I can’t shake the feeling that they are just another parody of their elder hustle culture bros like Gary Vee.
