South African comedian, actor and voice artist Themba Robin has produced another truly mesmerising South African safari video.

Using an iconic David Attenborough voice-over, Themba has again narrated a safari species native to South Africa, “the species Phala Phalaus Taxivadus”, the “most expensive and infamous couch” in the country.

Themba joked that he “nearly twisted an Ankole discovering this new species”, explaining further that the premium couch offers a “truly Cyril experience – sorry, surreal” as it can store “more dirty secrets than its distant cousin, the casting couch”.

This is making light of recent revelations that the SA revenue service has no record of the Phala Phala millions – R580 million to be exact – found stuffed in President Cyril Ramaphosa’s couch.

As Themba said to SAPeople, “If we can laugh together we can find solutions together!”:

In another, not-so-remote part of the country, Themba also adventured with another SA species, the potholes in our roads propping up like “horny bunnies”:

Shame, Themba, you tried, but I reckon the only thing we can do together is laugh.
