It’s not much of a secret that Russian President Vladimir Putin has been suffering from health complications since the start of the war he’s waging in Ukraine.
The latest in the long line of comments suggesting Putin may be suffering from symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, dementia, and/ or schizoaffective disorder is that he has just had “another medical check-up”.
The Kremlin claimed this happened while US President Joe Biden was in Kyiv, Express reported, noting how this is affecting the 70-year-old Russian President’s ability to lead Russia amid the war in Ukraine:
Russian President Vladimir Putin has suffered a health relapse, according to claims from Russian telegram channel General SVR, which claims to have contact with Kremlin insiders.
…General SVR said on Telegram: “Over the weekend, Putin underwent another medical check-up.
“The recent treatment did not give the expected results and a new one, based on the results of the examination, has been scheduled and will start on March 5.
The SRV added that this “can and probably will seriously influence the president’s plans and decisions in the coming days”, and seriously limit his ability to “fully participate in the governance” of his country at war:
It continued: “It should be recalled that at the end of last year, due to the onset of therapy, Putin was forced to cancel a number of large traditional events and temporarily withdraw from most of the information agenda.”
While a lot of these claims are unverified, they are consistent and persistent:
General SVR has made a number of claims about Putin’s health in the past, including that the Russian President has suffered “bouts of coughing, dizziness, sleep disturbances, abdominal pain [and] constant nausea” as well as “the manifestation of symptoms of Parkinson’s disease and schizoaffective disorder.”
In April last year, too, the independent Russian media outlet Proekt reported that Putin regularly travels with an oncologist and claimed he once bathed in deer antlers to try and improve his health.
In line with those extreme measures taken to extend his life, The Daily Star has just reported that Putin is going ” full Wacko in his bid to live forever”, now sleeping in a cryogenic oxygen tank, like the one Michael Jackson used:
One Russian insider revealed on a Telegram online chat: “Putin has now officially, totally gone ‘Wacko’.
“He has a cutting edge cryo chamber in his mansion that doubles up as an oxygen tank… he gets in it with these ridiculously comical looking glasses, white gloves and undies and socks, and thinks it is going to cure him of his ills.
“It is not. He is too far gone.”
Apparently, the machine has been set up in his Valdai mansion where he lives with his gymnast lover Alina Kabaeva, 39, and their kids.
MJ, who died after a drug overdose at age 50 in 2009, used a cryogenic oxygen tank to slow ageing as it delivers 15 times more oxygen than usual to your body tissues.
Insiders also mentioned how Putin has live-in Swiss doctors and a dentist to care for him, trying as they might, to alleviate the “twitches and mumbling speech he has been displaying from dementia”.
