British diver Tom Daley calming knitting sweaters between executing his gold-medal winning dives at the 2021 Olympics was deliciously meme-worthy and lovely.

I mean, come on, you don’t often come across a chiselled athlete in a Speedo concentrating on a scarf.

After being spotted on the sidelines with his needles and wool, Daley became an internet sensation, dedicating his win to wool – “I honestly think I owe the Olympic gold to knitting”:

We all fell in love:

He even launched an Instagram page for his woollen creations.

Made With Love by Tom Daley is where it’s at:

Recently, Daley took his passion for knitting to new heights, noted Queerty.

The 28-year-old athlete has been enjoying South Africa, and over the weekend he posted a collection of photos and videos of himself on Table Mountain:

It’s not just the silver nail polish that is intriguing, that’s for sure.

Besides enjoying the sights of South Africa, Daley just launched a new Spotify podcast, also called Made With Love, exploring how to make time in your life to do the things you love.

The first episode has dropped and features Tom in conversation with special guest Shania Twain.

Thanks for gracing our mountain with your presence, Tom, you and your wool are welcome any time.
