Jealousy makes you nasty, but when I see the new apartment Bill Gates bought for his daughter Jennifer, I can’t help but compare it to the crappy 2-bedroom Observatory flat I shared in the 90s with two other students and a cat named Jupiter. That place was a s%@thole. But then again, my dad was an electrician, not the founder of Microsoft.
Situated at ‘the celebrity-approved 443 Greenwich Street’, the 827 square meter home used to belong to Lewis Hamilton before Bill Gates purchased it as a present for his daughter.
Jennifer married Olympic equestrian Nayel Nassar in October 2021, and despite the wedding being held at her R288 million Westchester horse farm, the couple needed a smaller place in New York, where Jennifer is studying medicine.
According to NY Post, her 443 Greenwich neighbours include Jennifer Lawrence, Meg Ryan, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, Harry Styles, and Jake Gyllenhaal. Seems like a step up from Melrose Place.

The penthouse boasts six bedrooms, six bathrooms, two powder rooms, 6-meter-high ceilings, several terraces and two parking spaces. It also has its own elevator as well as an indoor 21-metre swimming pool.

The couple recently welcomed their first child, and the apartment seems to be just the right place to raise a billionaire’s grandchild. Baby-proofing this palace will be a challenge though, but we’re sure there is a platoon of nannies on hand to ease the burden.
