Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg’s legendary friendship has been taken up a notch.
The 81-year-old thirst trap queen unveiled a new upper-arm tattoo of her bestie’s face and the words ‘My Dogg’ in fancy calligraphy.
Known for her classy, elegant style, this is a lot for the once-unmarked TV personality and businesswoman.
“Forever linked in ink to my favourite @snoopdogg”; she shared the news with her 1,7 million Instagram followers.
Unbelievable:

Alright, so the ink debut is in fact a part of a Super Bowl advert for Sketchers, per PEOPLE, in which Martha demonstrates how easy it is to slip on the athletic shoe brand’s Hands-Free Slip-ins® footwear.
With Snoop in her life, Martha is not at all adverse to risk:
Upon reaching out to the brand’s reps to confirm whether or not the tat is permanent, PEOPLE was told, “Thanks to Skechers Hands Free Slip-ins® footwear, Martha Stewart is able to engage in her lesser-known hobbies including scoring a perfect 10 in competitive gymnastics to permanent body art of her comrade Snoop Dogg.”
As Glamour notes, the tattoo may very well be fake, but then again, no one does a viral moment quite like Miss Martha.
Snoop also put himself in a pair of Slip-ins® for a Sketchers Super Bowl commercial:
The two buddies always pair up for some Super Bowl ad fun but their friendship runs deeper, having met on The Martha Stewart Show in 2008:
By 2014 they had developed a relationship based on online banter until the TV personality said she wished they were “closer friends” during a Reddit Ask Me Anything. The rest is television history.
Martha also wrote about their “special bond” in the foreword of Snoop’s 2018 cookbook, From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes From tha Boss Dogg’s Kitchen:
“Our relationship was born from our connection to food as we whipped up some cognac mashed potatoes and green brownies. Working with Snoop in the kitchen has been a remarkable experience for me,” she wrote. “Not only has he taught me new lingo and cultural references, he surprised me with his unique cooking techniques and recipes.”
Snoop Dogg also told Rolling Stone once that he has never met anyone like Martha Stewart, adding “When we come together, it’s a natural combination of love, peace, and harmony”.
Real or fake, the tattoo is kinda cute, all things considered.
