Convicted underage sex trafficker and real-life Cruella De Ville, Ghislaine Maxwell, says she believes that Jeffrey Epstein was murdered in his prison cell as he awaited his trial for numerous sex-related charges.
According to the article in EWN, the comment was made during a series of interviews being aired on Britain’s TalkTV.
Maxwell is appealing her conviction on charges of trafficking underage victims for Epstein. She was sentenced to 20 years in prison for her role in the sexual abuse, but when pressed about apologising to the victims, she merely said they should take solace that Epstein is dead, and can now move on with their lives.
“Epstein has died and they should take their disappointment and upset out on the authorities that allowed that to happen.”
Epstein is believed to have committed suicide by hanging himself in his prison cell as he awaited trial. News of his death has raised some eyebrows as many believe that he may have been murdered to keep him from testifying.
Some of the names associated with Epstein, and his sex-party island, would have had very serious and damaging questions to answer for. These included top media personalities, presidents and even royalty.
“I believe that he was murdered. I was shocked. Then I wondered how it had happened.”
Authorities have concluded that he did hang himself, but a private pathologist hired by Epstein’s brother suggested he was killed, citing evidence of multiple fractures on his neck, something he describes as ‘unusual for a suicide’.
Maxwell, however, said that she had no idea the alleged rapist was ‘so awful’ when they met and began a relationship in 1990. We have to wonder if her opinion of him changed while she was luring underage girls to his island to be abused, or only after he died.
We hope more light will be shed on exactly which of Epstein’s friends were present when she brought underage girls to his homes. So far there has been little information on follow-up investigations, with the only high-profile ‘ass-covering’ being done by Prince Andrew, who was photographed with one of the victims.
Maxwell also claimed that a decades-old photograph of Prince Andrew with his sexual abuse accuser Virginia Giuffre is “fake”.
The royal family have avoided talking about the out-of-court settlement that was reached with Giuffre – to avoid a public courtroom. Maybe it will be discussed in a memoir at some point. May we suggest Privilege & Perverts as a title?
But for now, Ghislaine Maxwell seems to be the whipping boy for the scandal that ruined a lot of lives. Pending her appeal, she will remain in prison where we can only speculate as to when she, too, will ‘commit suicide’.
